Dad was the greatest man i have ever known. He was a very strong, patient, caring man that would give the shirt off he's back if he thought you needed it. He always took care of everyone no matter if they were family or not,he was a honorer dad & grandpa to so many people . He always had great advice to give no matter if you wanted it or not.Dad had a great sense of humor, the life of any get together he taught me to be kind,Funny and strong and if i wanted to do something i just had to set my mind to it and never give up. Daddy always put hes family before him self that's just the kind of man he was.He never had any son's but got all grandson's and he was so wonderful with them and loved too spend time with them.Dad taught my oldest son ruben the tricks of the trade as dad would say so he could carry on he's great legacy,he would take landon my youngest son to school every morning not because he had to but because he said that was he's time with the (little guy ) that's what dad called landon he gave us all nicknames and anyone he meet got one as well, my sister's was (peg aleg) my oldest son was(bud)and mine was (junior )i used to hate being called that, and now i would do anything to hear him call me that again. it's impossible to try and put into words the love we have for my dad.he was so many things a wonderful husband of 49 years to my mom an amazing father, the best grandpal a kid could ever want ,the greatest unkie , the best little brother,i could go on and on but as my dad would say time to wrap it up .Daddy we will miss you so much but you will always live on in our heart's and we know that you will be our guardian angel just like you have always been. We all love you and miss you like crazy daddy. love your junior

To Peggy And Brian Lawrence, Shiloh and Castiel- I send you lots of love and special hugs along with my deepest sympathies. I know your loved one adored your family as I do. As I read memories I can tell Castiel has some of the same wit and love for life. That's a wonderful legacy.

The man who never grew up
I gave him the name of "Unkie", He was the apple of my eye and my moms baby brother whom she named Pudgie .He was the best Uncle a girl could have. He had a very kind heart and was always there for me, He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back if you needed help , His love for cars rubbed off on me, I loved going to the race track with him and Aunt Sharon as a child, There is something to say about getting in a car and starting that roaring engine. Unkie loved sweets, chocolate chip cookies and Brownies were his favorite as well as his favorite drink Pepsi . My Grandmother was an excellant seamstress and that is where he inherited his talent for sewing as he made it his passion and trade of work. When the Doctor's office I work at needed their exam tables and stools re upholstered, I just knew he would be the man for that job. Now more than ever, when I go to work everyday I can look at them as every patient sits on them and remember his talent.
My mom always referred to me as his first child, since he helped her get through her pregnancy and take care of me. everyone he knew he gave a nick name to, mine was "Tamer Jammer" he lived in Charleston with my parents when my Dad was in the Air Force at the young age of 16.
He made family get togethers fun with all his witty comments and was always getting a laugh out of everyone. He will be greatly missed by all.

There comes a time in everyone's life that we either know someone for a very long time, or hardly at all. Pudge, I only knew you for a short while but you made me like everyone you touch feel like family. Your wit, sense of humor, and kindness was contageous. We hate to see you go, but know you couldn't stay. We take comfort in knowing that the Lord has prepared a place in His house for you, and now you are with Him. Keep on cruising....keep a light on for us.
