Harold Hutson JOHNS ISLAND - Harold Charles Hutson (Charlie), 61, of Johns Island, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Born on December 3, 1962 in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of the late Jeanette Hutson (Colson) and Raymond B Hutson. Charlie grew up in Johns Island. He was a professional painter of many homes in the Lowcountry. He retired in 2020, enjoying time spent with family. Charlie was an avid hunter, especially during deer season. He loved having a fishing pole in one hand and a cold beer in the other. Harold is preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Glenn Hutson, a sister, Judy H. Garcia, and a niece, Dana D. Davis. Harold is survived by Maxine H. Curry (sister), Ronald V. Hutson (Brother), Sonya T. Adams (niece), Cassie Gail Wilson (niece),and Amos Lee Curry, Jr. (nephew). He is also survived by a great-niece, Alyssa Curry, and great- nephews, RJ, Caleb, Gabe, and Amos. The service will be held at Stono Baptist Church, 953 Main Rd., Johns Island, SC. on Monday, July 15th at 2pm.
