Sorry to hear about Bear...I remember he used to call WGLX (when the station was still in Rapids) and request "Roll with the Changes" by REO Speedwagon whenever he'd work overnights at David Harold's. I never met him in person, but we would chat quite a bit on the phone in the wee hours of the morning...he was definitely one of a kind. Keep on rolling Bear!

To the Haasl family: you have my deepest sympathies! I can honestly say that I never met such a soul as Hair Bear. He was loved by so many. I don't remember him ever saying anything bad about anyone. May you rest in peace dear friend! I hope fond memories of this special person will help with the healing process. God...You've got one of the good ones with you now.I just found out today and am sad that I did not make it to his funeral....Again I say REST IN PEACE dear friend!
