Harold Estridge Obituary

Harold Walter Estridge SWANSEA, SC - Funeral services for Harold W. Estridge, 83, of Swansea, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. H. Larry Jones and Rev. Mark Hardenbrook officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Mr. Estridge was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, a son of the late James N. and Annie Gantt Estridge. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, where he was a Sunday School Teacher and Director for many years. He was a loving father and grandfather. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Alecia and Jerry Eddins, of Swansea; a stepdaughter, who wishes to remain unnamed; three grandsons and their wives: Jason and Laurel Eddins, Scott and Melanie Bodiford, and Clay and Sheila Bodiford; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma McLane, of North. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m., Wednesday at Sardis Baptist Church prior to the service, and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Eddins, 724 Center Hill Road, Swansea.
