Harold Albertson Obituary


ALBERTSON, Bud Entered into eternal rest Monday, June 18, 2007, Harold Louis Bud Albertson, husband of G. Evelyn Sandefur Albertson. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Albertson are invited to attend the funeral service of the former in Grace United Methodist Church, 1601 Sam Rittenburg Blvd., Thursday, June 21, 2007 at eleven o'clock. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL, this Wednesday evening, June 20, 2007 from six until eight o'clock, where a Masonic Service will be held at eight o'clock. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, N. Charleston, SC 29406. Born July 8, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mr. Albertson was the son of the late Vivian Jesse Bunch. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and a retired Nuclear Shop Planner at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Mr. Albertson was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was also a member of Charleston Rifle Club, James Island Masonic Lodge #396, York Rite, Scottish Rite, Omar Shrine, American Legion Post #147, VFW Post #445, and the Disabled American Veterans Association. Survivors include, his wife of sixty-two years: Evelyn S. Albertson of N. Charleston; three daughters: Lucinda and husband Steve Osborn of Irmo, SC, Jacqueline and husband Nathan Davis of Charleston and Billie Caudill of Jonesville, NC; two sons: Robert H. Albertson and wife Donna of Goldsboro, NC and David J. Albertson and wife Marianne of Goose Creek; eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Mr. Albertson was preceded in death by a daughter, Terrie Davis and a sister, Yvonne Dowden. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
