Dear Alice and Margaret,
I hope you are well.
I hope I´m not being intrusive, but Hannah was a very good friend to me when we worked together at The Post&Courier. I know it´s been just over a year, and I fear I may have missed it, but did the Celebration of Life ever happen? If not, I would like to be there when it is. She was truly a shining light in my darkest journalism purgatory during the two years we worked side by side.

Hannah always brought joy and positivity to others. I met her at the Low Country Senior Center. Her art class was a special time for all of us. We learned from her, became a family around her and enjoyed her encouragement.
It was apparent that she loved you, her family, dearly. She will be missed.
My sincere condolences.

I worked with Hannah years ago, sat through MANY a boring school board meeting with her while she was at the Packet and I was Savannah Morning News, Beaufort Bureau. She was a great spirit and loved her daughters to the moon and back! Although I lost touch with her over the years, I remember that smile! Blessings to you, her family, who are left with the memories to cherish!

Alice and Margaret: Hannah and I worked together at The Island Packet in the early 80s. She was the education reporter, and was training me to replace her so that she could spend more time with the two of you. We lost touch, but re-connected just a few years ago through a mutual friend. Hannah was delightful. She was charming and funny, and it was a joy to see her again and to catch up. My sincere condolences for your loss.

Dear Alice, Margaret and Family,
I worked with Hannah at the newspaper. She was a bright light, even on the darker days. Such a sweet spirit.
