Hank Mathewes Obituary

Hank Mathewes CHAPEL HILL, NC - Hank (Henry Hill II) Mathewes, formerly of Charleston, SC, died on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Chapel Hill, NC after an extended period of health-related problems. After many years in the Charleston area, Hank resettled in the upstate of South Carolina and eventually moved to North Carolina's Research Triangle to outsource his nursing services. Throughout the years, he continued to cultivate his love of nature and music from his childhood and turned it into a hobby that allowed him to travel and photograph nature and his favorite bands that performed nationally. Hank leaves behind his: Mother, Alyce; three adult children: Russell, Sarah, and Kevin; sister:Alyce; half-brother: Chuck; half-sister: Jennifer; roommate and best friend: Jacob. Due to the current state of global health, a memorial service is not scheduled, but is slated for 2021. More details will be posted via social media accounts.
