H. McCue Obituary

H. E. "Mack" McCue, III CANTON, GA - H. E. "Mack" McCue, III, age 83, of Canton, GA passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011, at Metropolitan Hospice. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late H. E. and Sadie Workman McCue. Mack retired from State Farm Insurance after many years of service as a Claims Adjuster. Mack was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Sixes United Methodist Church, active in the American Legion, the GA Republican Party, and a proud member of the "20 Gallon Blood Donor Club" of the American Red Cross. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Williams McCue; son Des (& Mary) Yawn; daughters Pat Hammond, Bonnie "Boo" (& G) Ramage, Sue (& Jeff) Johnson; five granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and godson, Tony Westcott. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Sixes UMC, Rev. Jim Buckman officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Sixes UMC until the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sixes UMC Building Fund (8385 Bells Ferry Road, Canton, GA 30114) or the American Red Cross. South Canton Funeral Home & Chapel: 770-479-3377.
