Gwendolyn Bennett-Jamison EDISTO ISLAND - Mrs. Gwendolyn "Gale" Bennett-Jamison, 65, of Edisto Island, SC, wife of Mr. Harry Jamison, Sr., entered into the arms of her Savior on Sunday, May 7, 2023. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Gwendolyn "Gale" Bennett-Jamison are invited to attend to attend her Celebration of Life Service 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 13, 2023 in First Baptist Church of James Island, 1110 Camp Road, James Island, SC. Interment - Island Memorial Gardens, 3516 Wine Road, James Island, SC. A public viewing will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Murray's Hollywood Chapel, 7173 Highway 162, Hollywood, SC. Gale was born on July 13, 1957 on Edisto Island, SC, daughter of the late Willie Mae Bennett and sister to the late Mildred E. Bennett. She graduated from Baptist Hill High School, Hollywood, SC and Benedict College, Columbia, SC as Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Business Administration. She met the love of her life Harry Jamison in 2009. The two were married in 2010. They were each other's best friend and soul mate sharing in the joys of life for 14 years. A marriage that inspired every couple that they met during their union. Gale leaves to cherish her precious memories; her loving, dedicated, and devoted husband, Harry Jamison, Sr.; nephews, Adrin Trent Bennett of Edisto Island, SC and Benjamin A. Parker, Jr. of Charleston, SC; grandnieces, Anetra Smalls, Ebony Grant (Tommie), Shana Parker, Antonia Mack, Ben'Aje Parker and Tamaura Parker; grandnephews, Benjamin A. Parker, III, D'Andre Parker, Tyler Scott, and Benjamin Dasani Parker; nine great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews; one uncle, Samuel Robinson (Ivory); god-children, LaShanda Carter, Kierra Chatman-Tucker (Antwain), and Josiah; special and loving friends, Sandra Parker, Edith Seabrook, Josephine Meggett, and Arlivia Parker; very special friends, Gail Hutchinson, Tiffany and Alexis Butler, and Cynthia Rhodes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
