I met Gwen while working for Dr. Rivers. She was a wonderful influence and I loved working with her. I was new in town and she was one of the first people I met. She made me realize I had made a good decision to move to Chas. I always looked forward to going to work so I could talk with Gwen. I have just learned of her passing and I wanted to convey my most sincere sympathy to your family. God bless you.

To the Cashion Family,
I can not remember all of your names, I do remember Gwen and Debbie, and Theresa. I am Carol Veit's daughter Lybra...I remember you guys from way back when I was a very young girl, as I write this I flashback to walking on the beach with my mom and some of you guys...(remember I was like 5-8 years old)....anyway
my mother would be so heart broken to hear of Gwen's passing. My mom passed away 3 years ago, and I know how excited she is to be meeting up with an old friend in heaven. God has another angel and we have someone else to watch over us and our families.
May you and your family find peace within to help you deal with this hard time.

Dear Teresa, We are so thankful that Gwen visited July 24th. Pheraby, spent time with Gwen and enjoyed her company. Pheraby was also able to go to her house with her. It is surreal to me because the message from that day Gwen left for me is still on my phone. We left town that Friday. Today, We heard of her passing. The Britt family loves all of you. Gwen will be sorely missed. fondly, maryhelen

Dear Aunt Christine, Suzanne, Deborah and Teresa. I pray that you will be able to receive the Peace that Jesus gives not as this world gives. I know what it's like to lose a loved one. It was a very difficult time for me when Weezy left planet earth. It was 3 years ago last week. It will take time to heal. You can't put a time table on the grieving process. May this be a time that will draw you closer to Jesus. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you, and Gwen would want you to live everyday to your fullest potential. Remember the precious time that God has given you with Gwen. May those memories always stay with you.

When I am gone, remember that I am with Jesus: then do not mourn because I have passed away.
Life held so many griefs and dissapointments and will you cry becasue I did not stay? Tis only for a spell that we must be parted:not many years on earth are given to us. And when my Saviour tells me you are coming I'll go with Him to welcome you to Heaven.
Grieve not becase the eyes that looked upon you shall never see your face on earth again: Rejoyce, because they look upon the Saviour who gave His life to ransom sinful men.
Weep not because I walk no longer with you:remeber I am walking the streets of gold.
Weep for yourselves that you awhile must tarry before the blessed Lord you may behold.
2 Corrinthians 5:1-10

Therea and family,
I hope the verses above will give you as much comfort as it did me when both my grandfather and my grandmother passed away. I know there are many friends in Heaven waiting on us to walk the streets of gold with them. I hope that God's peace and love will surround all of and that you will know that your sister is in a better place.
It's been a very long time since we spoke Theresa - back in 1977 at FB. Hope you will remember me. Robin Chaplin Strickland.

I worked with Jim at Ferguson Enterprises and was sad to read that you lost your daughter. I have lived the same tragedy and I pray that God will give you the strength that he gave me. You just need to remember her as she was and live with those memories. May you have peace and know that she is happy in her new home.

I'm sending prayers to all of Gwen's friends and family during this sad and difficult time. I've known Gwen for years. We spent a lot of time together a couple of summers ago on Folly Beach and having dinners together. She was a great person, and a lot of fun. We'll miss her. God bless the friends and family, and Gwen, rest in peace, and know you are loved.

I met Gwen when I moved into the neightborhood. My small dog was choking. Although Gwen did not know me, she pulled into my driveway and dislodged the item in Peso's throat. Her quick action saved my pet's life. Since that time she and I have become good friends. I will miss her smiling face, helpful attitude and our long walks. To Gwen's family I would like to say that it was my privilege to be her friend.

I am so sorry to hear about Gwen. My late wife Linda and I spent countless hours playing cards with Chris and Mac and remember Gwen running around the house as a kid. She was too young to go. My prayers are with the family.

To the Cashion family:
We were so sorry to hear of Gwen's passing. Even though I live in GA now, mom and the rest of the family still live on Hottinger. Those birthday parties were so much fun and I still think of them occasionally.
I don't know if you knew or not, but we lost Dad and Cissy both, in April and May 2007.
We will pray for God's presence and comfort to be with you during this most difficult time...

Gwen was such a loving individual. You could always count on a great big hug from her whenever you saw her. I'll always have fond memories of summers at Folly Beach, riding over in the back seat with the dog that kept passing gas, swimming and crabbing, staying up to the wee hours of the morning laughing, going to church on Sunday and being completely lost because I'm not Catholic. The loss of someone just a couple of months younger than myself is such a shock, we should have grown old together. Aunt Christeen, I'm so sorry you have to bury one of your daughters, it's a parents worst nightmare. Teresa, Deborah, and Suzanne, I'm sorry you've lost a sister. Gwen will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
