Dear Shelvie, my Mother sent me the obituary from The State in the mail. I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your husband and hope you are able to cope with your loss. In reading the other notes here, he must have been a wonderful person. Please call me in Myrtle Beach sometime, and get in touch if you get down this way.
Love, Chauncey Buchan (Myrtle Beach, SC)

Ms. Shelvie,
We are very sorry to hear about Mr. Guy. He was so nice everytime we visited you with our Bubbie.
We loved it when he walked with us thru each floor of your home, showing us your beautiful paintings.
We will miss seeing him.
Love you, Madison and Ellie Waites

Dear Shelvie,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of Guy. Although certainly a very sad time for you, you are fortunate in that you have a wonderful support group in Columbia to help you in these difficult times. Although I did not know Guy well, Bob thought very highly of him, and that is indeed an outstanding character reference. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as well as Guy's family.
