Kristina, your Mom sounds like an amazing woman. I wish I had had the privilege to have known her, but your stories of her and the fact that you are also an amazing, kind woman gives me a glimpse of her.....may you find comfort in God's grace, your memories and the support of your family as you grieve this great loss.

Dear Kristina and Ingrid,
Thinking about Gulli brings so many happy memories! I remember seeing the Swedish horses in your kitchen window when Don and I were driving around trying to find a place to build our house! After talking to Gulli we knew we wanted her family to be our neighbours. The St Lucia parties were great ( still have a picture from 1971!)I talked to Gullie not that long ago and she was looking forward to move closer to Kristina. After Ingrid told me the other night about Gulli's passing I had to take a deep breath before writing this. I know there are no words that can ease the pain you feel. Your Mother was a very special person and I am so glad I got to spend time with her. I still remember how beautiful she looked in her white boots and Hot Pants in the 70's.
Love to all of you from Lillemor Welch

I'm so sorry to here of Gullies passing she was a wonderful lady. I met her when she came here from Sweden. My mama,Iris Poole, was to happy at the time to find someone she could speak Swedish to.
Our families were friends ever since. When I got divorced and had nowhere to live Gullie took me in for a whole year.I will be eternally grateful to her for that .My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Please let me know when her celebration in Chaleston will be.
