With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Guadalupe M. Weathers, who departed this life on September 29, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on October 21, 1952, in Guam, Guadalupe was the cherished daughter of the late Jesus and Victoria Atoigue. She carried the spirit of her island heritage with pride throughout her life and was especially known for her love of cooking traditional Guamanian food, which she joyfully shared with family and friends. Her kitchen was always filled the love and joy of her family and friends. Guadalupe was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Randy D. Weathers, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and unbreakable bonds. Her greatest joy came from her family, who she loved fiercely and unconditionally. She was the heart of her home, always present, always giving, and always the one to bring everyone together. A proud and dedicated civil servant, Guadalupe worked for many years at the Department of Defense, where she served with integrity and commitment until her retirement. Her strong work ethic and sense of duty reflected her deep love for her country. A true patriot, she held her American values close and was proud of her service in support of the nation. Guadalupe was known for her strength, generosity, and unwavering faith. She was a deeply religious woman whose belief in God shaped every aspect of her life. Her faith was her foundation, and she touched many lives through her kindness, wisdom, and spiritual guidance.
