Gregory Poe Obituary

Gregory Eugene Poe FAYETTEVILLE, GA - Gregory Eugene Poe, 41 of Fayetteville GA, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2011 after an extended illness. Gregg was born on July 22, 1969, in Chambersburg, PA. He is the much beloved son of Larry and Janis Poe of Goose Creek, SC. He is survived by his Parents Larry and Janis Poe; loving wife, Carla Brannon Poe; a devoted sister Anita R. Black of Winchester, VA; a Daughter Cheri Poe of Peachtree City; a Son Aarron Poe of New Caney, TX, and his step-son Keegan Brannon of Waleska; a niece Amber Keehr of Winchester, VA; a nephew John Black of Durham, NC and many extended family members. Gregg spent his life in service to others. He worked as a chef at Virginia and Charleston, SC restaurants. He went on to work for a cable company and eventually started his own contracting business for cable installations. Prior to his illness, Gregg was owner and the driving force behind Millenium Irrigation which he owned with his wife. His wife will continue to operate the business to continue in service to others as Gregg's legacy. Gregg was a loving, self motivated, happy young man and will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Services were held at Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville on Friday, July 15th.
