Gregory Bush Obituary

Gregory Brian Bush Ravenel, SC - Gregory Brian Bush, 68, of Ravenel, SC, husband of Pamela Workman Bush, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 29, 2021. His funeral will be held at the graveside on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 10:00 am, in the Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Road. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414. Greg was born May 24, 1953, in Charleston, SC, a son of the late Edward Benjamin Bush and Frances Goldman Bush. A personal message from Greg: "I have taken my last boat ride over the green waters of Cudjoe Key. I hope we will meet again at the edge of the blue horizon. Drink a cold Coors Lite at the tiki bar and remember all the good times we had. When you see a deer at the edge of the woods or cast a shrimp net off the dock, remember me. The red cardinal will be a sign that I am with you. I leave behind my beloved wife Pamela, and my dearest children, Jessica Varner and Jared Bush; my four grandchildren, Kadin, Conner, Julianna, and Gracie, whom I am proud to have been their PaPa; and my brother, Kenny Bush. I was preceded in death by my brother, Michael Bush. Until we meet again, much love to all my friends and family." Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675; Low Country Leadership Charter School, 5139 Gibson Rd., Hollywood, SC 29449; or the Fraternal Order of Police, 2297 Arrowhead Rd., Hartsville, SC 29550. Greg, enjoyed knowing you. You and Pam were an integral part of our family on 3rd Avenue. Will never forget the many meals we shared or the fabulous mimosa Sundays that made us all friends on Cudjoe. I will miss your humorous emails and the fond memories of you walking Bentley.

I enjoyed the conversations we had on my visits to your house. I remember the time we sat outside on the porch and talking one afternoon, and how you explained about the deer showing up at night to feed. I think of Holiday seasons like Thanksgiving and Christmas, how we all enjoyed good fellowship with friends and family. Those memories I will cherish as I reflect upon those days. May the Lord comfort your family and friends during this difficult time.
