SAM, I WAS VERY SAD TO HEAR ABOUT GREG. CINDY CALLED ME I WAS OUT OF TOWN. I ONLY KNEW HIM AS A LITTLE BOY. BUT I REMEMBER HIM LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY, RIDING WITH YOU IN YOUR CRUSIER. IF I CAN HELP YOU LET ME KNOW.

Brock Family:

We were fortunate enough to meet Greg at the lake on June 23rd. We all had such a great time singing karaoke and dancing with Greg. Everytime we think of that evening we can't help but smile to think that we were given the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person. Our deepest sympathy to all of you, and our many thoughts and prayers are with you.

Debbie and I read about the accident as we were leaving town for an extended vacation.

I felt so bad knowing that we would not be able to be at Greg's services.

I will always cherish those fond memories of coaching Greg in T-ball.

His enthusiasm was contagious to the whole team.

We ALL loved him dearly and he will sadly be missed.

I know you don't know me, but I graduated from NCHS in 2002, and I can remember ALWAYS seeing Greg at the school. He was such an AMAZING person and made everyone's day better! If he couldn't make your day better, nobody could! He will be greatly missed! You are in my prayers! The sadness on your faces makes me hurt so bad for you guys. You always think that it is hard losing a parent, but it is even more harder to lose your child. Our family went through this same thing four years ago, when my brother lost his son in a boating accident. If there is anything I can do for you or anyone in your family please call me. If you wake up in the middle of the night (or during the day) and can't sleep and you need or want to talk to someone, feel free to call me no matter what time of the day or night it is. I will always be there for you. Greg was very special to me and I am going to miss him. I will never forget watching him break dance, cheering on the players at N.C. High School, the nights he sat with me in the press box at Brentwood Baseball Field, but I will especially remember the night he proposed to me in the press box. Greg was a hoot no matter where he was. He always made sure he was having fun and wanted everyone else to have just as much fun as he did. I will continue to pray for your family and I will ask God to give your family the stength that you will need. Please call if you need me. 364-0026 May God Bless You in this time of need.

A meeting was held quite far from Earth; “It’s time again for another birth,” Said the angels to the Lord above, this special child will need much love. Nancy you were so happy. Even through your difficult time you made show Greg was loved, learned how to walk, talk and fitted into the real world . . . Greg was a part of the TSPS and BellSouth family. Greg has a special place in my heart. It’s comfort in knowing that you were the first person he looked at when he was born. And the last person he saw before God took him home. God Bless You All.

Gregory is a very special person who brought out the best in everyone he was around. He was very enthusiastic in everything he did and exemplified how to overcome obstacles in life; however big or small they might be. He brought A LOT of laughter and strong friendships to EVERYTHING he did. He was, and still is, a very respected person and well-liked individual. Remember Gregory Brock by what he brought to everyone's life; happiness, laughter, friendship, and the BIG smile he always had on his face. I pass along my sorrow to his parents & family as the world has lost a very special person who brought life and enjoyement to everything he did. Greg will be missed but never forgotten. My sincere sympathy to Sam, Frank, Maggie, and all immediate family.

Nancy(&Sam), I can remember the day he was born and how proud you both were in spite of his challenges!! I also remember holding him the day he came home from his first surgery at the trailer, when I brought over the gift we collected for him at the office(TSPS).I too, still have that picture and look at it occasionally. I saw Sam at a crime scene not too long ago and was asking about him then!!! He was truly an inspiration and a blessing to all that knew him. Now he is home and will look down on you everyday. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family and I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm more sorry that this had to happen in order for me to say hello. It has been a while, but my memories are always there.
