Receiving the message that you passed away shocked me more than anything , I'm so grateful I got to know you a little bit in the short 10 months we worked together. Enjoying music on the way to events...goofing off at the coliseum and makin stupid remixes to hotling bling. You were an old soul, with a good attitude, always helping others and never asking for anything in return. We lost a good man , the world needs more people like you, grant Kirkland ; but no one will ever come close to the humble , generous person you were! You will be greatly missed , and we will remember you everyday ! Rest in peace GK!

Grant, I will always remember the fond childhood fun in the neighborhood and at the dock at the lake. It just seems like yesterday we were playing hide and go seek with all the neighbors at night. Thinking back on all the wonderful childhood memories of you, I will miss the conversations with you the most. The way you would listen quietly with a little smerk on your face before you would quietly say a funny comment that would make everyone stop and laugh.

We will miss you and we're truly grateful for the wonderful memories we have from our childhood together.
