I met Grady while working for Respite Care. He was quiet but kind. I'll miss seeing him do puzzles with his friend Rick that he often sat next to. He reminded so much of Dr Charles Stanley whom sadly is also deceased. Prayers to his loved ones. ❤

Phyllis, my heart goes out to you and Kevin for your loss. I worked with Grady at American Mutual / Unisun Insurance Company many, many years ago. He always made me feel I was important and always made me laugh. He was a good mentor when I was just getting started working as the secretary in the Sales Department. He was always one of my favorites. I touched base with him when he was working at FSE Insurance. Prayers to all of you during this sad time in your life.

So sorry to hear of Grady´s passing. Grady and I worked together at American Mutual and replaced him as the Charleston Field rep on April 1st 1989. He was always supportive and helpful and was a great friend to a young man " learning the ropes". I have wonderful memories of Grady and thankful to have had him as a friend and mentor!

I´m so sorry to hear of Grady´s passing. What a wonderful person he was. We worked together @ FSE Insurance & spoke every morning as the first co-workers to arrive daily. He´d speak of his weekly tennis matches, his light infantry work, his family, & how proud he was of all of their accomplishments. He´ll be missed by those who knew & worked with him. My prayers go out to his family & friends.

It was very surprising to see the notice of "Mac's" passing. "Mac" (as he was known then) and I were roommates at Carolina. We had good times and bad(school) times. Although I did not finish he helped me with many days work. I also met his friends from high school. We had fun, I mean, we learned a bunch. I was fortunate in seeing him and Phyllis recently to say hell-o. I will always remember him as "Mac" in my thoughts. May he rest now as I know he is in good hands.
