Gloria Mackey GASTONIA, NC - Gloria Mackey, 77, of Gastonia, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Gloria was born in Benson, NC on March 8, 1939. Gloria is the daughter of the late Mozelle Messer Bush. Gloria was a member of Amvets in Charleston. She enjoyed watching TV and was an avid fan of Jeff Gordon and John Cena. She loved her dog "Buddy". She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed her last few years living with her daughter and son in-law. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Philip Morrison and wife Patricia; daughter, Cathy Brand and husband Jerry; sister, Bonnie Whitman; grandchildren, Nick Brand, Chris and Michael Morrison; great-granddaughter, Lily Morrison; nieces, Debbie and Gena Whitman. In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her husband Bill Mackey. All services are private.
