Gloria Culp, age 69, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Bronson at Home Hospice Residence. She was born August 25, 1945 in Mount Holly, New Jersey the daughter of Robert and Catherine (Downs) Cassady. Gloria retired in 2014 from Cracker Barrel Restaurant due to her illness. She enjoyed bowling, reading and being the caretaker of lost and abandoned animals, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Culp in 2008; son, Joseph; her parents; and two sisters: Patricia and Debbie. Surviving are her daughters: Sandra (John) Foote of Galesburg and Ann (Charles) Trent of Texas; three stepdaughters: Debbie Reen, Diane Douglas and Donna (Doug Reisterer) Culp; stepson: Danny Culp; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers: James (Joan) Cassady and Robert (Julie) Cassady; many nieces and nephews; her best friend Vicki Barlond; and many other close friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with interment to follow at Morgan Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
