Glennie Osborne Obituary

Glennie Gladys Osborne CAMP BRANCH - Mrs. Glennie Gladys Osborne, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 6, 2009 after a long illness. Mrs. Osborne was born in Scranton on January 20, 1935. She was a daughter of the late Zeb Kelley Matthews and the late Mamie Hyman Matthews Collins, and was married to Garland Thomas Osborne. Mrs. Osborne was a very active person. She loved gardening, flowers, and sewing. There was nothing she wouldn't challenge. Mrs. Osborne surviving family includes her husband, Garland Thomas Osborne of the home; her two sons, Roger Frank Osborne of Camp Branch and Randy Legrand Osborne of Florence; her three sisters, Lila Blalock of Columbia, Eloise Ward of Georgia, and Uldene Short of Charleston; and several nephews. The family of Mrs. Osborne will have visitation from 11 - 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in the funeral home. Funeral services for Mrs. Osborne will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 in the Brockington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lake City Cemetery.
