Gladys Wilson Memoriam

In Memory of Gladys S. Wilson August 29, 1930-January 21, 2021 Our Mother uttered the words of the 23rd Psalm in the final days of her transition as she had so lived her life as a daughter of the late William F. Seabrook and Gladys Mildred Graham Seabrook. She shared her love as a devoted wife to Dr. D. Ward Wilson, and they gave life to 3 children: Decatur Ward Wilson, II, Dexter Norman Wilson, and Dr. Lynette Wilson-Phillips. Our mother gave to the community through her love of God via her church Morris Brown, AME and professionally as an Educator in the Charleston County School District. Through her travels she touched the lives of many with a smile but we knew behind the smile she was still praying, "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Mommy, Granny, Aunt Gladys, Mildred, Mrs. Wilson as you were called here in the flesh by your close circle of family and friends....your loving spirt and soft spoken words will forever remain in our hearts as you "dwell in the house of the Lord forever." PEACE.
