I will miss my Grandma. I wish my daughter could have spent time with her on the island as I did as a child. Those are such special memories for me. I remember Grandma's humor and her sweet southern accent. I remember her delicious cooking...the iced tea, fried chicken and macaroni pie. Grandma taught me to love grits.
I remember most the love she had for my Grandpa. Once when my sister and I were visiting, I was missing my boyfriend something terrible. My sister was sick of hearing about it, but Grandma understood. We chatted about a time when she was away from Grandpa and cut her trip short to return home to him.
Grandma was so special to so many and I know we'll all be together again someday.
I love you Grandma.

My grandma touched alot of lives and she was important to me. I have so many fond memories of spending time with her, just me and her. I will miss her so much. I hope that you each have a special memory to share of her with one another.
