Gladys Delores Collier WEST COLUMBIA, SC - Gladys Delores Collier, affectionately known as Dee, passed away on May11, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 10, 1930 in Boonville, Indiana to the late Lewis and Gladys Jamison. She was preceded in in death by her husband of 54 years, Jimmie J. Collier, who was the love of her life; and daughter, Julie Denise Collier. She also had 2 sisters and a brother who passed on before her. Dee is survived by 5 children, Jay Collier, Janie Banks (Ralph), Janet Swayne (Tom), Jimmy Collier (Chris) and Joe (Joy); 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and one on the way. Services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 200 State Street, West Columbia, SC at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
