My condolences to the Boone / Lefft families. Although I never met Miss Gladys, my family knew her husband quite well in St. Stephen, and I knew her sons and nephews while at SC State back in the early 1980s. May they find peace and comfort during this difficult family time.

I met Mrs.Boone years ago. She made a lasting impression on me. She was a kind, beautiful, gentle soul who deeply loved her family. I will keep the family in my prayers.

Mrs. Boone was our First Lady at Centenary UM-Moncks Corner during Rev. Boone's tenure as our Pastor. She had a sweet quiet spirit that will never be forgotten. I am saddened to learn of Gladys' death. We have not seen each other in decades, however I remember her from our involvement in Methodist youth events as adolescents. That involvement in addition to both of us being named Gladys gave us a lasting connection. My condolences to her family. "Memories will strengthen you. Love will bring you peace".
