Ginger was born January 7, 1968 in Concord, North Carolina, daughter of Jane Barringer Price and the late Taffy John Davis. She married William Dettmering in Memphis, TN in 1995. She is survived by her husband, William Dettmering, mother, Jane Barringer Price, maternal grandfather, Earl Barringer of Concord, NC, paternal grandmother, Mary Davis of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Hannah Dettmering of Metairie, LA, two step-sons, Perry Dettmering of Madison, WI, and Grant Dettmering of Seattle, WA.
