Dear Rick,

I am so shocked and terribly saddened to hear of darling Gina's death. I first met Gina more than 23 years ago when we were both counselors at Charleston Center. She had a great gift with young people and a sweet heart. In recent years being reacquainted with Gina, I always welcomed her warm, tight hugs and big life force when we saw each other in church. I will continue to pray for your peace and the peace of your daughters. Gina gave a lot of love to the world and did a lot of good. Bless you. Kitty Fahey

She was my friend, confidant, helper and an incredible inspiration to me. She gave me hope many years ago to become a better person and was the driving person behind my becoming a counselor. I will always be grateful for everything that she did for me. Prayers to Rick, Morgan and Jordan.

Sweet Gina - you are at peace

Gina was not only my 1st cousin- she was my "sister" & my friend - I am blessed that her parents call me the "son of their heart" - From the day I was born Gina was my sister- as a toddler- as am awkward teenager- always she included me in everything- in college I was lucky to share the same Major & have all night exam study sessions- seeing her grow, her daughters born, debating, sharing, philosophying - on every known topic- loving, arguing, making up - like brother & sister- my heart aches for my sweet Gina - I do pray God that she is calm & safe - I pray God somehow allows me a 2nd chance to see her - Gina, I am chewed up with grief, but I will be the best uncle to your daughters I can be - Allen Harken

I am so sad to hear this. Gina and I worked together as therapists at Roper North Treatment Center many years ago. I will always remember her for her devotion to her clients and for her wonderful sense of humor. Rick, I will never forget, and I am sending you love and peace.

It has been years since I have seen GIna. However, I can say that she was an amazing woman, helped may people change their lives in a positive way, was compassionate and caring.
