Geraldine Seigler Obituary

SEIGLER, Geraldine ROUND O - Mrs. Geraldine Patricia Drawdy Seigler, of 7110 Featherbed Road, wife of Mr. Lloyd George Seigler, died Tuesday at the Colleton Medical Center. She was 72. Mrs. Seigler was born September 1, 1933, in Lodge, a daughter of the late Willie Lee Drawdy and Sudie Marie Connelly Drawdy. She was employed by Simmons Irrigation Co. for 30 years and was also a former employee of the Walterboro Dress Plant. She was a lifelong active member of Bedon Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving besides her husband of 56 years are: two sons, Robert Dennis Seigler and wife Geraldine of Cameron, and Darren Shay Seigler and wife Kimberly of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Linda Denise Seigler Hall and husband Richard of St. Mary's, GA; a brother, William "Bill" Drawdy of Walterboro; five sisters, Catherine Tumbleston of Ravenel, Virginia Hill of Round O, Letha Brower of Savannah, Ruth Bello of Knightsville, and Rose Marie Eagerton of Aiken; three grandchildren, Robert Dennis Seigler, II, Tara Danielle Hall, and Dylan Nacona Hall, as well as a fourth grandchild expected soon; a step-grandchild, Ricky Williams, and two great-grandchildren, Haley and Tyler Seigler. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, in the chapel of Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Eric Bjork. Burial will follow in Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Southeast Region of the American Lung Association, Emphysema Research, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, GA 30080.
