Geraldine Kuremsky Obituary

Geraldine Ann (nee; Karns) Kuremsky CHARLESTON - Geraldine Ann (nee; Karns) Kuremsky, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on her 72nd birthday, January 9, 2019. Geraldine (affectionately known as Geri or "G") was born in Altoona, PA on January 9, 1947. In the early 70's she relocated to Newton, MA where she began a successful career as a human resources consultant. She had a passion for arts and enjoyed being an amateur photographer. She attended Penn State University, Boston University, and Boston College Graduate School. She recently relocated from Bethel Park, PA to Charleston, SC. Geri was preceded in death by her loving husband Dr. Dale Kuremsky, and her infant son Mark Zubrod. Geri is survived by her: siblings Gwenn Warner, Sharyl Sumner, Bill Karns; her children Matthew S. Zubrod, and Danielle K. Zubrod, her daughter-in-law Denise Zubrod and her 8 grandchildren: Cameron, Stephen, Benjamin, Nicholas, Carleigh, Christina, Bode and Finn. Her brilliant sense of humor and dazzling smile will be missed by many. "It has been my honor to be your mother, sister, and friend, you are the best part of me." Geri.
