Geraldine Dempsey JAMES ISLAND - Geraldine Camilla Dempsey, 84, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 4, 2023. Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at New Beginnings Community Church, 849 Ft. Johnson Road, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at New Beginnings Community Church. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. Geraldine was born September 23, 1938 in Georgetown, South Carolina, daughter of Furman Press Taylor and Dorothy Mitchum Taylor. She was an office manager for Trident Security for 38 years. Geraldine loved her family, her church and visiting family and friends out of state. She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly (Bert) Leppert, Donna (Steve) Wheate; grandson, Thowel (Graci) Leppert, III; great-granddaughter, Elli Grace Leppert; brother, Furman (Ruth Anne) Taylor; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Geraldine is predeceased by her husband, Jack Dempsey and brother, Lavern Taylor. Memorials may be made to New Beginnings Community Church 849 Ft. Johnson Road P. O.
