Georgianna Flowers Obituary

Be it resolved that the family of the Bethesda at The City of Mercy, bow our heads in humble submission in the will of God in the passing of your loved one. MRS. GEORGIANNA J. FLOWERS. Be it resolved that it is our desire that God will comfort you and wipe the tears from your eyes. We encourage you to treasure the memories you have knowing that you have hope that you will see her again.

Georgianna thank you for being such a wonderful part of my life and of the Burts family and so many others in our beloved neighborhood on Idalia Drive. You were and will always will remain known to me as my second mom who spent as much time and care raising us as you did your own wonderful family. Rest well in God's hands but I know you are still doing his work, and that too helps to bring me peace and confidence in our life ahead. Love you, Albert

Aunt Georgia, which I affectionately called her was a kind,loving, and genuine woman. I will dearly miss her because she helped me through some very hard and unhappy times in my life. I will always cherish all of our moments when she nurtured me and helped me with my first-born son, William. Thanks for being a grandmother to him and helping me with him as a baby and through his young adult life. I love you with all my heart> I said it while you lived and I proclaim it even further through your transition in to your heavenly arms to see everybody you've been seeking for so long.

The family has my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one, Mother Flowers. In recent years, I called her Mom because that 's what she was to me. I always felt so much love when I entered her house. She was always so kind and loved to share. She was truly a good samaritan, reaching out to help someone. I miss her already but will cherish the memories she left behind. Be encouraged and know that you all took the very best care of your mother and she was so very proud of her children and family. Let the tears you shed be tears of joy knowing that after being blessed with a long life on this side that she has earned her seat in Glory.
