Georgia Dirkson Obituary

DIRKSON, Georgia Georgia Louise Dirkson, 84, of Goose Creek, a former resident of Crisfield, Maryland, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at a local hospital. Born January 21, 1921 in Pocomoke City, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Dirkson. She retired from Sherwin-Williams as a quality control inspector and enjoyed gardening. Georgia was very lovable and liked making people laugh. She is survived by her daughter: Harlandra I. Love of Boston, MA; son: Howard Eduardo Scott Dirkson of Norfolk, VA and daughter Kim Green of Goose Creek, SC; six grandchildren: Jayne J. Maddox, Harland Justin Love, Joy Gathering, Andrea Dirkson, Scott Dirkson and D-Leon Clayton Moore; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her son, Franz Dirkson, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday, April 24th at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 133 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek.
