I had the good fortune of becoming Georgie's son-in-law in 1988. For the next 8.5 years I learned that he was truly one of the most genuine human beings I have ever met. You would travel far and vast distances to find men who equaled his compassion, humor and love. All in all he was " what you saw is what you got". I for one will miss him truly. My best to Amanda, Eric and most of all Juanita, who is a jewel all on her own.

If you are the same one who used to work for Dr. Youmans, please accept my deepest condolences. Have tried many times to find you to no avail.

You have my sincerest condolence to the family for your loss. As a new SPAWAR engineer, I had the privilege of starting my career with George as one of my mentors. I will always remember him for helping move furniture into my first apartment as I did not know many others in the area. He will be greatly missed.

Junantia,
I feel great sorrow right now. George taught me many things about the SCARNG and life in general. You meet few people that impress you for your entire life, but George was one of those people. May God be with you and the family in these trying times.
