HOW TO LEAVE A LEGACY
Get good at something.
Finish what you start.
Invest in things that have meaning.
And remember,
Sometimes your best work is only seen by
GOD.
From all the "FRIENDS" that were at Church I know that he knew HOW TO LEAVE A LEGACY.
1. Get good at something.
Again from talking with his FRIENDS he was good at many things.
2. Finish what you start.
He liked to see things to completion.
3. Invest in things that have meaning.
He invested in Family & Friends.
4. And remember,
Sometimes your best work is only seen by
GOD.
And I know that GOD had a book writen down of all of his good works.
Annie Caroline, you and your family are in my Prayers and if I can ever do anything please give a call.
I am

We were very sorry to hear today of Mr. Reid's passing. Our family spent many hours listening to his stories and his tips on the care and management of horses. We fondly remember the times we spent boarding and riding our first horses at Stono and our children's first lessons at that beautiful farm. Our condolences to Annie Caroline and the family.

The wisdom of Marion Reid will live on in all who experienced the magic of Stono River Stable and who were lucky enough to go one of his famous "cushion" rides.

Mr. Reid was such a fascinating man...I always loved hearing the stories of things he had done throughout his life. I learned so much about horses from him during my time working and riding at Stono River Stables. He was so proud of me when I made the equestrian team at Carolina and it meant so much to me! He really was an incredible man who will be missed! My love and prayers go out to his wonderful wife, Annie Caroline, and to Stanyarne and Marion. My deepest condolences.

Mr. Reid was such a wonderful person! I was very sorry to hear of his passing. His knowledge and passion for horses, children and nature were a pleasure to work around for 6 years. He will be missed and Stono River Stable will always remind me of his smiling face!
