George Polite Obituary

Mr. George P. Polite, 65, beloved husband of Mrs. Theresa Polite of Moncks Corner, SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday August 8, 2025. Those left to cherish his memories are his children: Samantha (Samuel) Cartwright, Octavia (Timmothy) Smith, Cathrell (Tiffany) Polite, Shayla Polite, and Prosperity Polite. His grandchildren: Kyeara (Trevon) Moore, Serenity Cartwright, Zion Cartwright, Ka'Mora Polite, Delilah Polite, and Amari Polite. His siblings: Benjamin (Anna) Polite, The Late Joseph (Patsy) Polite, The Late Betty (Frank) Harris, and Annette Goodwin. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held at Grace Cathedral Church at 5391 Salters Hill Rd, Hollywood SC 29449 at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 16th. US Marine Corps Honors Service will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery located at 1601 Boundary St., Beaufort, SC 29902 on Monday, August 18th at 2:00pm. The family welcomes any visitors from 3-8pm at 233 Catawba Branch Way, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
