George Morris Obituary

Morris George (Fred) Morris, Age 73 of Bloomington on 3/25/05. Survived by wife of 55 years, Audrey; children, Cheryl (Jim) Sedoris, Gregory (Savon Daum), Cindy (Dave) Tovsen, Randy (Jeanne), Rick (Sherry), and Scott; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Pearl Barrager; brothers, Leonard, Dan, and John; other relatives and friends. George owned and operated Morris Masonry and Concrete for many years. George was a Mason for 50 years, Jesus was a fisher of men, and George was an avid fisherman and had a deep love for all of his family and friends. Known for his wit, dry humor, huge heart, and love of fishing, hunting, and life. The family has a deep sense of loss. His creative spirit lives on. Jesus was a carpenter, our father was a Mason, so now they are together. So, "Let Jesus and George do it." They will build it and we will come. To George's Family

My deepest condolences for your loss. Even though I only knew George from the times we would bump into each other in the concrete business world, I always enjoyed the conversations we had together. It always seemed so strange that we would both have the same last name, be in the same business, live on the same street, and 30 years ago, drove almost identical El Camino's. I returned from vacation on Friday, and received the news. I'm sorry I missed the service, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during these tough times.

I am so very sorry to hear about George. Unfortunately, I cannot attend the services as I am in California with my daughter Sherry. Sherry also sends her sympathy to the entire family. We both thought George was such a fun loving person. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family during this sad time.

Dear Audrey and Family,

I am sorry to hear the news about George. I regret that I am not able to attend the funeral because I live at such a distance. The last time I saw George was at the Cannon City School Reunion. Those were the days! My sincerest sympathy to all of you.
