George and I worked together on many projects over the years at Nationwide. What a wonderful and friendly gentleman. I regret that a conflict will keep me from attending Tuesday's memorial. But George and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you in your time of grief.

George was one of the only Daniel Island residents who also walked everywhere, so he and I crossed paths often. He was a kind, gentle human being and will be missed. Please know that we share in your sorrow, Teri, and the rest of the Macklin family.

Macklin Family, my heart was truly sadden to hear the passing of George. George was a kind-hearted loving gentleman. I enjoyed working for George as his secretary for a little over 12yrs. George treated me like part of his family, as I've watched Erin, Ryan, and Corey grow up into young adults. You are all so special to me. Please know that I am praying for each of you, Teri and Colleen too. God knows and cares how you each feel. Lean on Him for strength.
