Each and every meeting with George was a moment filled with light, joy and Christ's love. Just thinking of him at this moment brings a smile to my face and love in my heart. I miss you brother.

As I look at all of these kind words, I thank you all. I talked to my Dad after work almost three times a week and would harass him on the weekend. My Pop loved. Today would have been one of those days that I called him after work, but now I wanted to but can’t. My Pop would tell you all to keep family close. We all have a day, but I miss him so much and know that it’s “Not my will”. To all that posted and remember my Dad, at the end of each conversation he would say “ Take God with you”. I you Truly Miss My Pop. Please pray for me and my sisters.

I worked with George for 20 years at Pearlstine Dist. He was a GREAT guy and a lot of fun to be around. I enjoyed playing golf with George and just hanging out with him. He will be sadly missed... We just lost another member of the Pearlstine family Lance Nilsen and I'm sure they are looking down on us having a beer. RIP George.

George was a new and growing friend of 10 years. He enthusiastically, and with the heart and charity of St. Paul, shared his unwavering faith with me (and with his bible study family), and more recently he began to share with me his experiences in Vietnam, for which I felt honored and trusted by this wonderful, courageous man.

George, I miss you for your friendship and brotherhood in Christ, and will always miss you for the warrior conversations we were planning, but didn't have. However, I am greatly comforted by the knowledge that there is no PTSD in heaven. I pray for you, and your grieving family, but more so, trusting that you are now in the presence of Jesus, I ask that you for pray for all of us. In faith and trust, see you soon, soldier.

George was an amazing person. I know he struggled, but he was always so upbeat and had generous words to share. I know I'll miss him; Bible Study won't be the same without him. I can't believe he's gone....

We were deeply saddened when we learned that George passed away.
He was a religious member of St. Patrick Catholic Church’s Bible Study. George took an active part in the discussions and even facilitated Bible Study several times.
He was kind, courteous, and friendly.
We will truly miss him.

Had the pleasure of working with George at Pearlstine Dist. for 20 years. We shared many a laugh as we tried to represent out team and company in the market. I loved a lot of things about George. He had a big heart, he wasn't afraid to make up a word now and then and if you needed him he would be there. He had a crazy golf swing but he could knock it a long way. Always hated that we lost touch but i look forward to seeing him again one day.
RIP George

Deepest sympathies to the family of George Heard from Andy Ward. I enjoyed working with and getting to know George during our time together at Pearlstine Distributors in the late 70's and the 80's.

George was my good friend. I loved him like a brother. He would often check to see if I was doing okay. He always told me if I needed any help to let him know. The world is a better place because he was part of it.
