George Gigis was one of the nicest people I've ever known.
A senior in highschool, he gave me a part-time job at GRANT'S.
We attended Greek events together. George loved to sing, and took every opportunity to sing.
We remained FOREVER Friend's.

Mary Ann-I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. Although I only met him briefly at some baseball games, I can tell from his obituary and the things I used to hear you say about him that he was truly a wonderful man. I'm also grateful for his service to our country. I only wish there was something I could say or do to ease your pain. You and your lovely family will be in my thoughts and prayers, and please know that I am here if you need me. With love and sympathy-Mona

George often stopped by Linning House in the City Market to say hi or buy a funny card. Although our paths haven’t crossed since the late 1990’s, my husband and I have fond thoughts. We send our sincerest sympathy to his wife and children.
