George was my best friend as a young boy. We had some great times, we learned so much together, and I will always cherish those memories. I'll never forget when he asked why he had to make his bed if he was just going to sleep in it that night, along with Joan's responding question of why he was going to eat if he was just going to, well, expel it from his body. I mourn his loss.

Leah,
Sending heartfelt sympathy to you and the twins. I so enjoyed being a part of the early Atlas family, and appreciated what I learned from George. May your family find strength and peace in the days ahead.
Hugs,

George will always be remembered to me, as a kind, loving man. He was a wonderful husband to my niece Leah, and an awesome father to Ami and Georgie. I am the twins Godmother and when the family would travel to CA in the summer they would visit me with their sub sandwiches and we would have root beer floats. I so enjoyed those visits. I called George my "tulip man" because he brought me tulips shortly after I met him. George loved our country and was a patriotic American. He loved the Lord Jesus as his Savior. George will be missed but always in our hearts.

I am deeply saddened by the news of George's passing. I spent a few years sharing the office with George at Atlas. I was impressed by his approachability and professionalism. George would always take the time to listen, even when the advice was unsolicited. I enjoyed hearing him talk about being a father, and the pride was evident when he spoke. I know this time is difficult for the family, but know that George's memory lives on beyond the business and beyond the circle of family and friends you know. My condolences and prayers.
