George Chamberlain Obituary

CHAMBERLAIN, George George J. Chamberlain, 61, husband of Robin S. Chamberlain of Summerville, SC died August 12, 2006. Memorial services will be held Friday morning, August 25, 2006 at ten o'clock at Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 205, Columbia, SC 29204. Mr. Chamberlain, son of George P. Chamberlain and Alice T. McCarthy Chamberlain, was born January 12, 1945 in Boston, MA. He was a retired state police officer from the Connecticut State Police and retired from the Army National Guard as a Master SGT. Survivors include his wife, Robin S. Chamberlain of Summerville, SC; two daughters, Debbie Lick and her husband Derek of NH and Diane Chamberlain and partner Ben Rubin of MA; a brother, Paul Chamberlain and his wife Judy of MA; three grandchildren, Samuel, Thomas, and Anna Lick, all of NH; two nephews, Paul Chamberlain of MA, Mark Chamberlain of NY, and a niece, Carol Martin of MA. My condolences and sincere best wishes to George's family. We worked together at Troop K ......shared some good times and some not so good times. There is a bond formed between Troopers that creates a deep sense of loss when one of us passes on. George moved on at much too young an age.
