Geneva Young Obituary

YOUNG, Geneva Geneva Young, age 85, of Warner Robins, GA, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Alabama to the late Herbert Parker and Flora Casey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Young. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, in Alabama, a native of Charleston SC, and a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Millie (Jim) Sorrow of Warner Robins GA; son, Edward (Ruby) Young of Vance SC; sister, Renie Hunter of Sand Rock AL; brother: James Parker of Sand Rock AL; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29th 2008 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston SC 29406. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Geneva Young's honor to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
