The Burke/Brown Class of 1964 will be celebrating our 60th anniversary in June and it's hard to believe that Geneva will not be there celebrating with us. Continue to Rest in Peace our beloved classmate.

Geneva and I grew up together in Charleston; knowing each other since elementary school. We both lived in NYC and hung out together there. Geneva was always the same; no pretense. She had strong opinions about everything and wasn´t afraid to let you know it. I am heartened by the fact that I know that she is at Peace. My sincere condolences to her beautiful daughter, Khadijah, her siblings. "Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her..."Amen
