Gary Allen Lawrence SUMMERVILLE - Gary Allen Lawrence, 48, of Summerville, passed away on Monday, August 8, 2016 at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Gary was born on October 2, 1967 in Hartford, CT, son of Diane Lawrence of Summerville, SC and Robert Lawrence of Washington State. He spent his youth in Windsor Locks, CT and graduated WLHS, Class of 1985. He then relocated to Summerville, SC in 1992 where he developed many friendships. He was a graduate of Trident Technical College, where he became a member of Phi Theta Kappa in 1997. He was employed by UEC as a CAD designer. He leaves behind to mourn along with his parents, his Aunt and Uncle Camille and Jim Meeker; cousins, Kari Westberg and Jennifer Yearwood and their spouses; and numerous friends in the CT area. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dorchester County Animal Society, 136 Four Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483.
