Gary Conway Obituary

I am so sadden to hear of this loss of life.

All of your current Honors College adopted children and your grateful alumni extend our sympathy to you and your family.

I sailed with Gary on LI sound when his boat was in Glen Cove. I loved our time together, and all that he taught me, including the value of a good visor. He once dove in after the wind took his favorite one! And it is told that he would winch up a lobster pot, remove the lobster, and replace it with a bottle of Scoth.
The world is a better place for having had Gary in it.

We will all miss seeing Gary and hearing his laugh. He was such a warm and friendly person who was a pleasure to be around. Our thoughts and prayers are with all his family and friends.

Uncle Gary was the epitomy of Southern Hospitality. He would always welcome you into his home any time of the day or night and he was always glad to see you. You will be missed!

We will miss Gary dearly. He was kind and generous to each member of our staff. It won't be the same not seeing him throughout the week and weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Gary provided 14 years of great service at buildings that I manage. It meant a lot to know I could count on him on a daily basis and, especially, in an emergency. I found him personable,even entertaining, and always professional. I will miss him.

Although I have never met you, Gary has spoken, in love, of you both and I am so sorry for your loss.

I met Gary by working at Royall Hardware. He was a loving young man and will be missed

Gary, you were the best Uncle this girl could ask for. I have loved the yrs of support, love, hugs and advice. You will forever be missed. I love you so much!! My best memories are sittingbeside u with my head on your shoulder your arms wrapped around me just talking about anything and everything. I will be sure to go to the clock for onion rings and pizza inn for pizza with you always in my heart.

I work in the building where Barkley Company is located at 293 East Bay and Gary came in often and was always so kind and gentle and I'm sorry we just met this year and I'm sorry for the loss to your family and friends.

You always warmed up the room and made us smile. I will miss you!
