Gage Kenneth Kennington Charleston - Gage Kenneth Kennington, 16, of Charleston, South Carolina, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road on Sunday, March, 31, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Gage was born July 3, 2002 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Charles Alan Kennington and Angela Allmond. He was a student at Palmetto Christian Academy in Mount Pleasant and attended Providence Baptist Church and Newspring Church. He is survived by his parents, Charles Alan and Angela Kennington of Daniel Island, SC; two sisters, Taylor Allmond Kennington and Ashton Layton Kennington both of Daniel Island, SC; paternal grandmother, Mary Baker Kennington of Newberry, SC; two maternal grandparents, Susan Cosgrove (Peter) of Summerville, SC and Donald Nye (Martha) of Summerville, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Myrna Allmond Otto of Mount Pleasant, SC; two aunts, Wanda Kennington Hartman (Barry) of Prosperity, SC and Aprille Allmond Maynor (Rob) of Summerville, SC; uncle, Bryan Stephen Nye (Joni) of Summerville, SC and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Layton Kennington and Barry Kenneth Allmond. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palmetto Christian Academy Athletic Program, 361 Egypt Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Gage was an amazing friend and had a great connection to the Lord. I spent last summer living side by side with him in Honduras, and I wanted to let you know that he permanently impacted my life by filling it with happiness and his endless smiles.
