I met Gabe at the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Barbara (my 6th-grade teacher) and Norm Thomas. I immediately felt how special Gabe was to everyone. His smile was infectious!! May God hold you all very close to Him as you grieve the loss of this precious young man. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear pam, Bruce Julian and Carra, I was so sorry to hear about your lose of Gabe. I know that he will be missed beyond any words that anyone could express. I know that he was a JOY to each and everyone of you and that he brought the world to you in his eyes. I have you in my prayers and thought continously. I pray that GOD gives the the strength to get through this time of grief and that you remember all the times that this angel brought you nothig but happiness. We've never had the pleasure of meeting your family, but when I saw Gabe's picture and write-up, in the obituaries of the newspaper, I had tears in my eyes, and I just had to send my condolences to his family and loved ones. Pam, I can still see little Gabe's smile when I worked with him at your Isle of Palms home. He was such a little character with his infectious smile. I feel lucky I was able to get to know him, he truly is an Angel from God. Look at many lives he touched in 8 years. He was an amazing child who loved life to its fullest. My daughter Mariah is in the second grade this year at Spann Elementary. I have been picking her up everyday since Kindergarten. I remember Ms. Pam coming everyday to pick Gabe up afterschool and everyday that sweet boy would come out with a huge smile on his face. It made me smile to see such a precious, happy little boy.
