Dear Aunt Anne, Cate, and Molly, sending so much love to you all. Uncle FULTON always comes up in all caps in my phone for some reason, but it always seemed appropriate because I saw him living his life in all caps. Always. A room was always more fun and full if he was in it. His facial expressions alone could tell a story, and his exuberance was contagious. Love y'all so much, you guys are so often in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear of Fulton's passing, of which I only learned of today from Tom Mather and Mike Seigle. Long time since we last met, but Fulton shared an especially exciting and happy time with me during which he showed his endearing nature time after time. I have kept up with you two from a distance through mutual acquaintances and always felt we would cross paths again at some point. I am sad that will not come to pass. Ann, please know that you and your beautiful children will be in our prayers.

Dr. Gasper was my doctor for so many years. He was also my children's eye doctor. My children are now adults but they still only saw Dr. Gasper. He had such a beautiful spirit and wonderful personality. I still remember when my daughter first got her contacts. He and I joked that we would stick to the glasses but he eased my concerns about allowing her get contacts. It made her happy. Dr. Gasper was such a caring person. He didn't see race, culture, background or color-he only saw people! I'll miss him.

I will miss him greatly and so will the Orangeburg community. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ grant the family comfort and strength. I will be thinking of you today at 1:00 PM.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gasper's for a number of years. When it was time for my annual check up in November, 2017, I heard that Dr. Gasper had some serious health issues. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I had great respect for Dr. Gasper as my ophthalmologist and as a person. I pray that his family can take comfort in the image of an eagle sheltering its young from the harsh weather knowing that under God's wings we find the refuge we need to weather the storm. Praying God's grace, the peace of His promise and the joy of His love be with each of you as you walk through this valley. Prayers and blessings, Stephen and Jane Hartzog.

Rosa Kennerly-Dance

January 23, 2018

Dear Mrs. Gasper and family, my name is Rosa W. Kennerly-Dance, and I was a patient of Dr. Gasper for about 15 years. He was a wonderful ophthalmologist who first diagnosed me with glaucoma. I was very upset with the diagnosis, but he promised me that with medication I could avoid going blind. We tried several medications and found one that Iwas able to tolerate.
Please know that I will really miss him, and I pray for you and your family as you experience this lost. He always greeted me with a firm hand shake and a big smile. Peace and comfort from Almighty God to you all.
