Fred A. Kassis CHARLESTON - A Mass of Christian Burial for Fred A. Kassis will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd. at 10:30 am . Prayers and Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 27, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm where a Rosary Service will be recited at 7:45pm. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1695 Raoul Wallenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC 29407 and/or Bishop England High School, 363 Seven Farms Drive, Daniel Island, SC 29492. Danny,

So sorry to hear of your lost. I know you have fond memories of your dad; hold on to those and cherish them daily. Mr. Kassis was such a humble-hearted person that greeted each person that came in the store as a friend. He was always interested in your well-being by making you comfortable while waiting to be served and asking about your family. I only visited the store a few times but Mr. Kassis impressed me with his outstanding customer service.

OUR SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO JOANNE,JANE,SONJA,DANNY AND ALL OF THE EXTENDED FAMILY. WE HAD THE PLEASURE OF REALLY GETTING TO KNOW FRED 12 YEARS AGO IN BOONE,NC. WHAT A BLESSING IT HAS BEEN TO CALL HIM A FRIEND. HE HAS HELPED MY FAMILY ON MANY OCCASIONS WITH THE PROPER FITTING OF SHOES FOR THOSE HE HAD ORTHOPAEDIC DIFFICULTIES. WE ESPECIALLY LOVED HIS BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND GRAND LAUGHTER. WE WILL MISS THIS SPECIAL MAN AND LOOK FORWARD TO PLAYING DOMINOES WITH HIM IN GOD'S KINGDOM. FAREWELL DEAR FRIEND AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
