Fred Mikell Faress, Jr. CHARLESTON - Fred Mikell Faress, Jr., of West Ashley, entered into eternal rest on the morning of Saturday, July 16, 2016. Born January 26, 1936 in Charleston, Freddy was known by all and loved for his enthusiastic and caring spirit. He is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Faress Sadler and Helen Faress Savard of Charleston, Madelyn Faress DiCorcia of Houston and brother, Sidney Mikell Faress of Hamilton, GA; many second cousins in the Upstate; eight nieces and nephews and ten grand-nieces and grand-nephews in San Francisco, CA, Houston, TX, Gadsden, AL, Atlanta, GA, Thomasville, GA, Charleston, SC, Hampton, VA, New York City, NY and Madison, NJ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Salma Kakatie Faress and Fred Mikell Faress, Sr., of Charleston. Arrangements were made by PALMETTO CREMATION SOCIETY, Charleston, SC. Burial will be private.
